CLEOBURY MORTIMER

Ludlow 10 miles; Bridgnorth 10 miles.

The pretty little town of Cleobury Mortimer is situated in the rural heart of South Shropshire. The town offers a refreshing selection of individual shops, pubs and restaurants, but is most famous for its unique church, which has a peculiar crooked steeple. The historic market towns of Bridgnorth and Ludlow (with its superb castle) and the famous World Heritage Site of Ironbridge are all within easy reach. There is excellent walking locally in the Clee Hills and the Wyre Forest, and horse riding, golf and fishing are available close by.

The property was very comfortable and the owners very friendly.

Yet again we had a great time. The fires of a night were fabulous and a again wonderful welcome on arrival. It was fabulous to be able to sit out in the garden with the dog, who felt quite at home. Ease of parking and able to get around by car. An extremely picturesque part of the country, with excellent walking with various nearby footpaths. The local shop at the Fighting Cocks in Stottesdon, accommodated all our needs. A firm favourite, with friendly and caring owners just next door.
