A delightful rural hamlet lying in an elevated location overlooking the Teme Valley and the Malvern, Abberley and Clee Hills beyond. Two excellent pub/restaurants ensure that guests are well catered for. Just three miles away is the village of Clifton-upon-Teme, and towns such as Worcester, Tenbury Wells and the historic market town of Ludlow are all within easy reach. Further afield, enjoy trips to Warwick, Stratford, the Ironbridge Gorge Museums, the Severn Valley Railway and many National Trust properties and gardens. With an abundance of scenic walks, cycle trails, bird watching, riding and golf, the area makes a wonderful base for a relaxing holiday.

The Property: Stable Cottage

This charming cottage adjoins the owner's large Victorian country house, standing in an elevated position above the Teme Valley close to the Clee and Malvern Hills. The cottage is compact, cosy, traditionally furnished and equipped to a good standard. With scenic walks, cycle trails, riding, bird watching and golf all close by, the cottage is ideal for a relaxing break. Further afield, Tenbury Wells, Worcester and Ludlow with its stunning architecture, medieval castle and Michelin Star restaurants are all within easy reach.

Accommodation

All ground floor. One double bedroom with ensuite (shower cubicle, basin and WC). Fitted kitchen with dining area. Cosy living room with 'coal effect' electric fire. Large entrance hall and conservatory overlooking courtyard and garden.

Amenities

Full central heating with additional heating from electric fire in sitting room. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge, colour TV, DVD etc. All fuel & power inc. in rent. Bed linen & towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for two cars. Shared lawned garden with decked pagoda & garden furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 3 miles, pub 3 mins. Please note: 'Babes in Arms' only.

The owners were the perfect hosts. There when needed, but left us to our own devices at all other times!! The welcome pack was the best we have ever had without exception. The perfect location for a peaceful getaway to unwind and relax. We will definitely be going there again.
